North Coast Journal – It turns out Rebekah Martinez is not missing at all. Quite the contrary, actually, she’s on a popular nationally televised show: The Bachelor, which you might have heard of. When posting this week’s cover story to Facebook, we asked if any of our readers recognized any of the 35 people currently listed as missing from Humboldt County on the California Department of Justice’s website. Astute readers said, yes, they definitely did and pointed to Martinez, who appears to be a burgeoning reality television star.
Now this is as crazy of a story as it can get! Apparently Bekah was listed on the California Missing Persons List, and she was hiding in IN FRONT OF MILLIONS OF VIEWERS! Bekah Martinez was reported missing at 1:06 a.m. on Nov. 18 by her mother.
“Martinez had reportedly come to Humboldt County to work on a marijuana farm. Her mother hadn’t heard from her since Nov. 12, 2017″ – Public Information Officer, Samantha Karges.
Bekah disappeared in November to work at a Marijuana Farm… That’s as California as it gets! Not only was she reported missing by her mother, but was later identified by a fan of the (somewhat) popular show, The Bachelor. Talk about hiding in plain sight. From missing, to a reality star… That’s quite the progress.
The crazy part is she identified herself on The Bachelor as a Nanny from Fresno… Which I guess isn’t too far from the truth. She “Nanny’s” Marijuana Fields, so there’s no way awkward ass Arie can be mad at that!
PS – Bekah was also called out on the show for being 22 years old trying to get at a 36 year old man. IDK, it’s weird to me.
